The POS specialist for hair coloration products
MediaColor is a subsidiary of the MEDIA6 Group: a specialist in POS marketing, commercial furniture and shop fitting.
Our core hair swatch production facility is based in Spain, where knowledge, experience and know-how in working with textile fibres can be found on-site. Here, we produce all forms and colours of hair swatches required for mounting onto cardboard and plastic displays.
MediaColor has a Research and Development Laboratory as well as a workshop which enable us to build our own machinery and tools. These machines are designed to complement specific product requirements, enabling us to automate various production stages, improve productivity and pass these benefits on to our clients.
The Group currently works with 200 clients located across 50 countries: L’Oréal Paris, Garnier, Schwarzkopf, Wella, Clairol and a number of other international cosmetics companies with whom we’ve partnered for many years.

SUPPLY CHAIN
The client sends us a blank sample (colour chart, swatch of dyed or undyed hair from which to start).
Our laboratory carries out colour-matching for client approval by combining a number of textile fibres together to achieve the desired colour.
The client approves the colour-match and the laboratory records the formula under the client’s name/reference colour and range, ahead of production.
MediaColor offers a choice of three finishes depending on the client’s preferred texture:
- monofilament (frizzier texture), available in matt fibres
- multifilament (smoother texture)
- elongated multifilament (smoothest texture)
